Each shot can be set to use up to 12 grams of coffee, depending on your liking. In addition, the SBS dial on the front of the brewing dispenser regulates the pump pressure of the machine. In the full clockwise position you get the intense and flavourful espresso experience. The more the SBS knob is rotated left, the more pressure and brewing water are bypassed and the the coffee becomes more like an American style long (drip) coffee, but with much more flavour and with crema on top. So now you can retire the drip maker to the yard sale the Incanto satisfies all tastes. You can also use preground coffee (usually decaf), instead of the whole beans that are in the hopper, by using the bypass doser.
