It is a positive, empowering film that can make a huge impression on a young viewer. Rating: - FoxfireI personally thought the movie was great. I never saw it when it came out, but my daughter gave it to me to watch. I usually watch it once a day. Brings back memories when I was a teenager. Also love the soundtrack, esp. about five songs. Great movie. Rating: - Hang On To Your FriendsI purchased the movie and loved every minute of it. I am 55 years old and it made my heart feel sad. I lost track of all my friends I had in the 60's - 70's during the Woodstock era. It made me feel that I have to tell my nieces and friends kids to never lose touch of their friends. In the end you will discover how valuable they were. Angelina Jolies' best performance and also Hedy Burress. They were all fantastic. The soundtrack is excellent. For the price it is well worth it. Rent the movie and learn from it. Rating: - foxfire soundtracki absolutely love this soundtrack. i believe it can make you find a certain something down inside of you. it really reached out to me. it touched me very close to my heart. i have gone through some of those senarios that the girls went through in that movie. so the songs really do set the mood for it! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! from a 16 year old! HAHAHAHA :P im immature Rating: - Great movie, great soundtrackI first saw this movie recently. The soundtrack enhances the drama when you're watching this film. Good ol' Jolie really gave a great performance as well as Heddy Burress. It's a touching film, but also sad. It defines the true meaning of what friendship is. No matter how bad it got for these girls, they stuck by each others side. My favorite scene was when Jolie started giving herself a tattoo and everyone in the room was deeply touched by the fact that she would permanently carve the memory of that night into her flesh. So after that they all requested the same tattoo. It's a rare but meaningful kind of female bonding. They loved each other and would do anything for one another. The best song is You by Candlebox, which is basically what the move was about. "I'd die for you, pain in my heart is for you."
