Rating:  - okay at first...So I got this as a christmas gift one year and was very happy with it. It's a great mp3 player with a good navigation menu (much better than a sansa or an iPod), good features, and great sound quality. It was all I just perfect for about the first year. Thats when the problems started. One day it froze up, but I reset it, no problem. About two months later it froze again. And again. And again. And again. Lately it won't even turn on long enough to hit the play button before it freezes. As one could imagine, it's completely useless now. I'm looking into replacing it with either a Sony Walkman or a Creative Zen (the new one, not a Zen V) and I hope whatever I decide on will be more reliable. Overall, I would not suggest this to anyone, because even though it seems great, the reliability of the software leaves something to be desired. Rating:  - Convenient but not without its problemsExtremely easy to add files. Good sound. The amount of songs that it can hold is decieving, about 1/2 the amount quoted if you choose to store songs at 128kbps, lower quality conversion to 64kbps to fit my library at the time. Was prone to freezing, solved by the pinhole reset. The play and back buttons became somewhat unreliable towards the end of the player's life (pressing 'back' would often pause/play a track and vice versa). At the end a single pixel on the screen died, this rapidly spread and within a week the entire screen was dead - i have been in possession of what has become a clunky flash drive for a year now, wary of other creative products. Rating: - BEWARE!Pros: ZERO!!! The LCD went black after about three weeks. Cons: Only three month ""warranty"" on parts. I purchased this in October as a Christmas gift for my daughter. By the time the LCD went black, it was already out of warranty and Creative wants thirty bucks PLUS SHIPPING just for the PRIVILEGE OF SENDING IT BACK! I will never purchase another Creative product again. Lesson learned: Always read the warranty before spending your hard earned bucks. Rating:  - Great MP3 PlayerI've had one of these players plus an 8 gig and the Creative Vision M for almost a year now and they are all excellent music players. I have had no technical problems. They are easy to use and have good sound quality however, I can't vouch for the earbuds that come with them because they were too big to go in my ears. It is easy to download or transfer music onto them as they accept a wide variety of files. Video quality is good even on the smaller players. Creative gets my vote over IPOD everytime. It's a superior product (or at least an equal one) that has more features (i.e. radio tuner and video capability on smaller machines) for a lower price PLUS they don't force you to shop at iTunes. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Rating:  - Creative Zen MP3 PlayerIt's small, which is good, comes with a nice pouch to hold it and the ear pieces. The ear pieces that come w/ it are not very comfortable, and the unit is not extremely easy to use, but overall I like it.
