Ok ill admit, I've watched episodes from time to time, because it is entertaining if nothing else, to watch these people make complete fools of themselves, and to see Tila fall "in love" (please!) but seriously...do these people have no morals whatsoever? Now I'm no saint by any means, but I can't help but cringe when I see the actions of some of these people. Is this what people will really resort to for their five minutes of fame? And an even better question...do these people HAVE parents? And really...its one thing to watch this show while its on TV, but there's people out there who actually purchase the DVDs? Now I may seem a bit hypocritcal because I am a fan of some reality shows such as "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" where the characters will sometimes do questionable things, but I feel there's a difference between reality shows like that (they are really more a teen drama that they for some reason felt like slapping a reality show sticker on) and reality dating shows. Now I wouldn't go so far as to say that this show is as bad as MTV's "My Super Sweet Sixteen" (I don't think anything can top a show about a bunch of spoiled kids whining about how they deserve everything their hearts desire) but when it comes down to it, "a shot at love with tila tequila" is just another reason for why so many countries hate americans Rating: - The Emperess Wears No Clothes.What do I mean by that? I mean this show is a farce. MTV tells all of the morons that watch their idiotic network (that no longer has any connection to music) that Tila Tequila is this hot commodity. Have any of you really looked at this haggard supertramp? Tattoos on her biceps, slightly below average looks, no education, no class... come on. If that's what you want head to Times Square. Rating:  - Morally repugnant or just blatant ratings grab? You decide...This show is clearly a guilty pleasure for many. I am not much of an MTV viewer but I caught a marathon of this flipping stations and was kind of amused. The show has no morals at all and was aimed at shock value and blatant sexual exploits. Lots of fit men and women running around in their underwear getting drunk and crying into the camera about how much they love this random celebrity they have only met a couple of times after eating [...]... The show is your standard phony reality dating show. Nothing in here is genuine and sadly this show has some terrible over-actors who are far too happy just to be de-basing themselves on TV than anything else. It's hardly convincing that many of the girls here are lesbians and worse, neither does Tila. Some of the hedged out romantic scenes seem downright uncomfortable for both participants but then again what does MTV care? They produce and the kids come flocking... Even more hysterical is that the theme is for Tila to be finding love with either a man or a woman but after the ratings were so unbelievably high there had to be a second season. I am sure the meeting after the last episode went something like this. MTV: "Best ratings ever! We need another season!" Show winner: "But I love her!" MTV: "Too bad it was in your contract this was not real even though we sold it as such!" Show Winner: "Oh yeah look at that!" Tila: "Get off of me freak!" What I found most humorous is that the show was so obviously over produced and staged yet the "actors" continuously tried to drudge up tears and emotions over their undying love or feelings for Tila. I can't imagine there were viewers out there actually buying this scripted tripe yet having seen an episode of Second Seasons I see they are running down the same lines. When all is said and done I highly doubt Tila at all cares about finding love. In fact it's not even why anyone watches this. If anything the enjoyability of this show is in the sheer ridiculousness of it all and watching how far these regular folks will go just to get a few more minutes on TV. Good luck to em. 3 stars for some guilty laughs and originality. -2 stars for being so blatantly fake and not caring about it. Rating:  - Great features and reproduction of the showI was so happy that this DVD was uncensored and had extra scenes, extended versions, and never before scenes. It was great to be able to see some things I missed when I watched the show originally. In terms of extra stuff this DVD includes some great features. I highly recommend it.
