Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Office Season 4
Great series for all ages!!! One of the cleanest TV shows out there that kids and adults can and will enjoy. Very funny with great individual plots as well as linking plots throughout the seasons. If you have season 1-3 be sure to pick this one up, and if you don't be sure to pick up season 1-3!!! Season one is short and only like 10 bucks, check it out! What do you have to lose??? Other than ten bucks! lol

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Too bad that they ran out of UK Office shows to copy, but still entertaining.
When the show first aired, I thought it was the funniest and most original show I had seen in a long time. I couldn't wait for Thursday night to come. Every episode was just brilliant. Then I started watching the original UK version and was stunned to see that many of the U.S. episodes were almost carbon copies of the UK shows. All the main characters share the same personality traits. Even the actors look similar. The office layout is the same. All of the plot lines and most of the jokes during the first two seasons are completely lifted from the UK Office. No wonder the writers strike didn't seem to impact the show. 90% of the writing had already been done by the British writers five years ago.

The only notable difference might be the boss's henchman. The UK character is hilarious, but Rain Wilson brings something original to Dwight Schrute and is actually funnier. Schrute's experience on the family farm also seems to be something new, but I haven't seen all the UK episodes yet.

Much of the fourth season seemed less funny than the previous three. I guess that's because the UK show did not last that long and now they have to come up with new material. But it's still better than any other comedy on American TV. I hope they can find something to inspire them to the genius of the original - like maybe hiring the writers of the U.K series.

i love the office, so i'm just keeping my collection going. this season was awesome, even with the writers strike.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - It's from Amazon, what do you expect?
I received this DVD in the usual time I get everything from Amazon, quick and undamaged. I always give Amazon a good review. They have never let me down.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It's the Office!
Good season. I was a fan of the hour-long episodes because a lot of the latest season's episodes seem too short. Not a lot of episodes... probably because of the hour-longs and the writers strike.

I just wish there were more commentaries and special features. This DVD set seems to have even less than seasons 2 and 3.

Cause, I mean, without the commentaries and special features I might at well record the season myself and not bother buying the DVDs.
