Rating:  - Apartment Life Expansion PackFun, Fun, Fun! The only real note I have to make here is to make sure you turn off any background tasks as it makes the loading of the game much faster. The first time loading after installation it is very slow but the next time you load the game it runs perfectly fine (or at least it did for me). Once into the game I had no problems with loading either during a character game or bouncing from neighborhood to neighborhood. You always hear people complaining about load time but I wanted to let people know that I didn't have any trouble. I love the magic aspect with good witches and bad witches and the helicopter is pretty cool. I'm really enjoying this expansion pack...better than some previous ones. Rating:  - Fun but has its problemsApartment Life is certainly fun but doesn't add much to gameplaying. It does add lots of new hairstyles and clothes as well as tons of cool items. The helicopter is cool for looks but it works just like a regular car. The biggest problem is that if u install Apartment life, you always have to put that disc in and no others. Even after I installed new expansion packs it still wont let me play unless i put in the apartment life disc which is a big problem since im letting a friend borrow it which means that unless she keeps the disc she wont be able to play any of the sims. overall its fun but the technical problem is a huge downside. do not borrow it from a friend just to install. either buy it or nothing its fun though Rating:  - Good but be sure to backup before installingI've had problems installing eps before so I did a backup just in case and good thing I did because it installed fine but I lost all my downloads. Fortunately I put them back and all is well cuz we all know that the games are severely limited in their objects and hair, etc. The game itself is not a huge difference for me because I use the motherlode cheat so my sims can have any house I want and I don't really like playing the apartments since you are limited in customization. BUT I love having the butler and the helicopter, and the magic stuff, very cool. All my sims are getting the butler. All in all, worth the money unless you are going to be one of the first to get Sims3, then you might want to just wait. Personally I'm going to wait and check internet feedback before I jump to 3. Specially since I've spent a lot of time customizing my sims families. Rating:  - Can't trust itSo far I have found this game unplayable. None of my families will load anymore. I have heard of several others experiencing the same problem and I can't really believe EA Games would bring out a game that can be so unworkable. Rating: - it is very limitedSo far (knock on wood) this extension pack is behaving with my computer. The game itself is fun, but I do not like the limitations you have with the apartments. Unless I am wrong there is no way to make your own apartment building you are stuck with the ones Maxis has made. I also do not like the fact that once you meet your neighbors they just walk on in your apartment and it is impossible to make them leave.
