Rating: - A Disgrace to Music : I Just Don't Get This
Alright, so I put aside my prejudice for these new tween-pop acts, and listened to this entire album, and found myself bewildered by the obviously horrendous tastes that the current teenage public have. THIS is music according to them? I mean, even I have to admit that Miley Cyrus had a good single with "See You Again", but that song would have been a hit no matter who sang it.

As someone who isn't interested in the Jonas Brothers like their target audience is, I can only judge them based on their musical output. Really, every song here sounds like a generic pop-rock tune - it actually reminded me of Hilary Duff's debut album "Metamorphosis", and not in a good way. One pointless guitar riff after the other, the moaning and groaning, the wistful sighs and "Oh Babys", and the mastery of 'romance' that they supposedly offer up in their lyrics. Aren't these people hooked on promise rings? If thats so, none of their sordid lyrics make any sense.

"Burnin' Up" is supposedly the 'best thing' here, and if thats the best these three men can offer, its time to retire. I don't see a musical future for them, nor am I interested in any musical experiments they might come up with (solo careers included). What a waste. Its a pity that I actually downloaded this nonsense.

I think this was the best purchase I've ever made because my 12 year old daughter has been in her room jamming to The Jonas Brothers since I purchased this CD three weeks ago!

this album is AMAZING!!!! that might be because im a little obsessed with the jonas brothers but seriously it's fantastic!!!
you have the typical jonas brothers with 'got me going crzy' and the cool dancy 'burnin up' then you have the great 'love bug' which goes from just a guitar and slowish song to a full on rockin'
if you're a jonas fan you'll LOVE it!!!!
if you're not, then become one because you'll love it too :D
