Rating:  - Printshop 23 great, butEase of use is commendable especially at this price. All aspects of the program functions work intuitively. But when it comes to printing, expect to drink a couple cups of coffee before any page prints out. Work around is to save it as .pdf and print from Adobe instead. The only function this does not work with is the new calendar creator. Even in Adobe the printing is not fast so multiple copies are best done by photo copying. Rating:  - Works well on Vista, many flaws remediedI have had three versions of the Print Shop series now, including 22. I had not been able to get 22 to work well at all on my OS, especially when saving as a PDF document. Problem solved with the newest version. Rating:  - Runtime errors with Vista...I bought this 'new' Vista compatible version after version 22 deluxe stopped working last week. It had worked fine for over a year on Vista. Then I started getting runtime errors. I downloaded everything Microsoft and Broderbund recommended to "fix" the problem. I tried contacting Broderbund and all I got was a no-reply email telling me to go to their site for patches! Broderbund customer service links are useless, they all lead back to installing patches. The only way I got the automated email link was saying I bought the software out of the country! I was running this program with NO PROBLEMS on a Sony Vaio, 3.20MHZ, 2GB ram... so there was never any problems before. According to Broderbund's ad, this version 23 is compatible with VISTA. I installed it and got the same errors! It recommended going to their site to download a patch! Guess what, there is no patch for version 23! This USED to be the best software of it's kind available for a great price. Now it and their customer service are not worth buying, sad to say. It would be great if they put up WORKING links to REAL solutions. Rating: - Good for the priceAt half off I'm pleased with it. It installed easily and works properly so far. It has some beautiful graphics, and ease of use. I got this newest version because my older one wouldn't work on my new computer/Windows Vista. I'm only giving it a 4 because so many of the graphics are online, and it's a pain to have to save them to the hard drive individually; they should have them on the DVD to be added to the computer all at once, and only the newer ones online that weren't available before the software was made, but organized and available to download quickly to the program. I hate wasting my time with tedious tasks. Also, having used various Print Shop Deluxe versions over the years, I can't help but wonder why they don't add more editing tools, shapes, panels, etc. - it's the same old program changed very little over the years. What do the software designers do all year?! Rating:  - disappointed with # 23I purchased printshop deluxe version 23 on dvd a few months ago. I'm getting a problem with this version(I've bought numerous other printshop versions over the years) that I never got with the other versions. when I use "acquire" so that I could scan an item or object into my printshop project, I get error messages that say there is no printer, need to install a printer, printshop unable to communicate with printer. so I'm unable to scan an object into a project. then I also get an intermittent error that won't allow me to print out a project I have created. It's difficult to contact Broderbund, I eventually was able to email them with this glitch problem, but so far, I haven't heard back from them, it has been maybe 2 to 3 days ago. I know there is nothing wrong with my printer, it works just fine and also I have no problem when I use Broderbund's PrintMaster. that allows me to scan objects, etc. into a project and also print out a project with no problems. so I know that printshop 23 has some kind of a glitch in it. I even tried to run the "correct problems" from the disc by running the disc again and even uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but I still get the same annoying problems. It's possible that this problem pertains to me and that someone else might not get this issue, however, I must say that I cannot recommend this product at this time.
