I use this backpack size LARGE when I travel on airlines. It holds quite a bit, fits in the storage area above airline seats, is easy to get on and off quickly, and is comfortable on the shoulders. Although the product does not come with a waist/hip strap, it does come with a small airpump that fills the backstraps and lumbar area of the pack with a padding of air making it comfy to carry. I do NOT advocate ordering it from The Therapy Coonection whose add says free shipping. They charged me $21.95 for shipping although I could find no restrictions listed for shipping on their website. They refused to honor what they posted on their ad. Thumbs down on this company.

I purchased this pack at the recommendation of my daughter's chiropractor. I tried it out myself and thought it was great how it balanced the weight. My daughter, 14 years, tried it out for about a week, but didn't care for it (We are approximately the same size). I still think it's great because of all the weight kids carry in their packs and will get her to try it again later.
