Rating: - Simple Upgrade
We always get the latest version so we have the benefit of the latest tax tables etc. It's a good product. We would have given it 5 stars but we haven't seen anything yet that's new in the upgrade that's especially eartshaking. The upgrade installed without a hitch on both an XP Professional PC and a new Vista machine.

Rating: - Consistantly worse with each passing release
Apparently sometime around the turn of the millenium, Intuit decided to just milk its existing customer base dry.

If you are a long time Quicken user, theres nothing new here. Stay with the version you have until they force you to move

The item was ordered Friday after Thanksgiving and was received the following Monday ! I was very surprised, thinking that it would take longer. I want to thank the vendor for his courtesy and promptness.

The product stands on its own and is reviewed by others more proficient in evaluation.

Rating: - Quicken Premier 2009 Review
I only upgrade Quicken once every 4 or 5 versions. Since I reloaded my machine and 2004 support was disabled, I decided to buy a new version. I was pleasantly surprised it was available for download coming in at under 70MB. 2004 comes in at a whopping 300+MB!

The interface changed a little across this many versions, but I have found it thus far fairly intuitive and somewhat easy to use. I do not like that I have to spend over $50 to get the same capability I spent $30-something for that many years ago. I suppose I should have bought 2008 if that was an issue. I considered it, but actually found 2009 for a cheaper price after doing extensive web searches.

If you need software to manage any kind of finances, I would recommend it. Just read the fine print as to what you get with each version. If I didn't pay attention, I would not be able to track my investments with a lesser version of the software.

Rating: - A great product going down the tube
Just bought Quicken Premier 2009 because 2006 couldn't be made to print in a 64 bit environment. Waste of money! It won't print either. The setup is a wireless network with three other computers; the printer is connected to a desktop; the 2009 Quicken installed on a laptop. Everything prints but the 2009 quicken. At least 20 messages have gone back and forth with Quicken technicians (?) with no resolution. They will not say it's because of the 64 bit software but that's the only difference. Why can't they develop a simple fix? About ready to try Money.
