Rating:  - Handy!I think that this has a lot of bells and whistles, but I am pleased with the parts that I got it for...resizing my photos. I am still playing around with it, and having no previous experience with any other type of product like this, I would recommend it. Rating: - It's different from Photoshop ElementsI purchased PSP after reading Gloria Hansen's Book Digital Essentials ( which I highly recommend for all artists, not just quilters) Digital Essentials: the quilt makers must-have guide to digital images, files and more! I've used Photoshop Elements V3 for years and like it very much but after reading Gloria's book thought I would try PSP because it had some features that PE doesn't have. I bought the CD version (not the download) and it comes with a bunch of extras, including an excellent tutorial. I already knew what I wanted to do, I just didn't know how to do it in PSP and the tutorial, along with Gloria's book, really helped. However, there is a significant amount of "unlearning" because PSP's methods are different and a little bit clunkier. My main reason for purchasing PSP is that it can create CMYK files, which PE cannot. I need that ability in order to upload files for printing postcards and notecards and other publicity materials. PSP is a whole lot less expensive than the full blown Photoshop or some other program that does that conversion. I'm still learning the ins and outs of PSP and I figure I will probably use both it and Elements together. Rating: - Worth the money I bought this program as a kickstart to my photo business and it more than packs a punch for value and ability. It is a bit slow to start, but once open it can do what most $$$$ programs can do, but without the elaborativeness. For someone starting out, it's a great deal... you can step fix, sharpen, color pop, oil paint and some other really great functions including a background remover and replacer. All in all, just spend the $59.00 if you are positive you don't want to spend $500.00 or more. Rating:  - Powerful package!The product is great. It arrived quickly and was the most current version. I have used Photoshop and PhotoImpact but this package surpasses both of them, at least for what I am doing. Price is right too. I use it along with my Nikon D80 and my Epson Photo scanner with stunning results. Rating: - Great productI bought this mainly for Paint Shop Pro, but it was a great to also include the 2 gb drive. I believe at the time the ultimate was actually cheaper than the regular edition. I have enjoyed using paint shop pro for about 5 years now and needed the upgrade to be Vista compatible. If you have used previous versions, transitioning too the new edition is not hard, and I have not had any difficulties with the new edition being worse than version 8 which is what I had used before so I recommend the upgrade for those who need something to run on vista.
