Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Quality Music by Rush
Some things age well. Rush is one. This DVD is wonderful, and shows how the years of musicianship have grown this group to the higher hights. The sound is great, the picture is excellent, and the atmosphere of the show is mesmerizing. Not quite sure about the roasted chickens though...kind of left me scratching my head. None-the-less...get this DVD and you will enjoy the best of this band yet recorded live!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Pinnacle of my Collection
I have been a RUSH fan since 1980. Have all of their CD's as well as all of the concert DVD's. Actually started with the "Grace Under Pressure" Laser and "Show of Hands" on VHS (Both very well represented on "Replay X3" DVD).

I, like most other long time fans, have a hard time warming up to the "newer" music, but still admire the tight musicianship and playing of all their music evolving over time. I also prefer the "studio" releases over "Live" also (least played in my collection is "All the Worlds a Stage", and "Exit Stage Left").

I have over the last year "upgraded" to BluRay and most all I watch (recorded TV, movies, music) is HD. I was thrilled for the opportunity to complete my collection with this BluRay. The video is nearly perfect (on my 40XBR4) and the sound (DTS-HD) was excellent as well.

It took several days to make it all the way through, but in the middle there is an intermission that "showcases" their humor as it is quite goofy.

Just about all the era's are represented with a welcome emphasis on the 80's. Nowadays alot of people are recognizing the trends and music from then and it really brings me back.

They played quite a bit from "Snakes and Arrows" cd and while I do like the latest release overall, there are only a couple tracks I really got into (Armor and Sword, and Monkey Business).

Overall, with not much planned for now, this caps off a 38 year career that has them playing and performing better than ever and will have people enjoying it for years and years to come.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - RUSH + Blu-Ray = Perfect
I received this Disc, plus a Sony Blu-Ray player for Christmas from my Wife (both were at the top of my list). This is just an awesome concert video. I've been a fan of Rush for a very long time (circa 1980), but most of my friends at the time were more into the Metal Bands, so never found someone to go to concert. When I got to college I made friends with plenty of Rush fans, but as is the case in college money was lacking when it came time to buy tickets. Well, thank god for Rock Band. Rock Band introduced my son to his first Rush song, and I introduced him to the rest. So, last summer I took my son (age 10) to his first concert, which happened to be my first Rush concert. The best concert that I have ever been to (mad at myself for waiting so long to get to a Rush concert). My son still talks about it. The setlist they played was almost identical to the one played on the Blu-Ray. Watching the Blu-Ray is like reliving the concert over and over again for me.

sounds great on my budget surround sound system.. I listen while on the treadmill and the band sounds just like the cd itself..good work Rush!.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Rush at it's best
If you are a long time Rush fan, or just getting to know the band right now, and you can afford only one concert DVD, this is the one I would recomend. This is by far the best sound and image quality in any Rush concert (and the other ones are not really too bad).

The song set list is really interesting, including a good portion of new songs from their latest studio album, Snakes and Arrows, the classic hits like Tom Sawyer, The Spirit of Radio, 2112 and Limelight, and the long lost gems like Circumstances, A Passage to Bangkok, and Ghost of a Chance. The performance is unbelieveably solid, and it's full of the well-known Rush humor. Do not miss this one.
