Rating:  - not worth itWe got this for our dog for Christmas and she hates it. The vibration irritates her and she hates the sound. She does so well with regular nail clippers and we had the most difficult time trying to get her used to PediPaws. We're returning it today. Rating: - works, if your animal will sit still long enoughi work at a vets office, and we kept having customers ask us about this product. so we bought one, just to try out. for one, i had to take the gaurd off because i was only making the nail sharper with it on. secondly, it takes forever, about 20-30 seconds a nail. compared to the secondlong snip of cilppers. in my opinion, you are much better off with a pair of clippers and a nail file. Rating:  - Would recommendI will admit I was skeptical on this product. I have a friend who has it and liked it, but I was still skeptical. Due to a coupon I had, I was able to purchase this locally for only $10 (instead of $20). I had no issues what-so-ever in getting my dog acclimated to the product. Within 5 minutes I was actually using it on his nails. I had his can of treats, sat down on the floor and just got her used to it without it on. would place treats near it etc - basically just followed the directions on how to get your dog used to it. I have used it now 3 times and am pleased with the results. I would classify my dog's nails as medium density (she's a yellow lab, but does not have BIG thick nails that our chocolate lab had (no longer with us :(. My only complaint is that the motor does stop (as designed) if you apply too much pressure. This is a safety feature, but I find it stops just a bit too easily. One small thing to note too - and maybe it's just me, but there is a slight unpleasant odor from the friction against the nail. Bottom line however, is that my dog's nails never looked so good and now I will be able to keep them much shorter than I have been able to in the past. Rating: - Good luck on ever receiving it!I never received this item because I ordered direct from the "As Seen on TV" website. After ordering, I discovered that the shipping charges were $15.00 and tried to cancel. I was never able to get a live person on the phone and the website does not have any other way to contact them--no email contact. Then a few days later, we received a phone call from someone that got our number from "As Seen on TV" trying to sell us earrings. Now it has been 13 days and we have not heard from them or received the item. We called again and were not able to speak to a person. Called again and finally spoke with someone. The order has still not been shipped and we cancelled it. The moral of the story--buy only through Amazon and good luck if you buy from this "As Seen on TV" company. Wish I could give you a review of the product, but I obviously never received it!! Rating:  - Pedipaws works like on TVI bought the PediPaws and followed the instuctions. It is quick and easy to use.
